Relaxation / Swedish Massage
Swedish massages involves using light, gentle strokes. Some of the primary benefits of Swedish massage are that it calms your nervous system, increases circulation and eases muscle tension. Swedish massage helps reset your body and mind from the natural responses to stress. It is often said to be one of the most relaxing massages.
Deep Tissue Massage
Therapeutic massage that works the deeper muscle groups of the body to address tension, injury, and pain using slow strokes and deep finger or elbow pressure.
Neuromuscular Massage
A Neuromuscular Therapist works to find the source of the pain and alleviates it by treating trigger points. A trigger point is a small contracted knot in the taut band of the muscle, which often arises from sustained activities such as working on a computer all day. Neuromuscular therapy is also used to improve circulation, nerve compression, postural problems and repetitive movement injuries.
Reiki (Healing Energy)
Defined as “healing energy,” this ancient art works on four levels: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Reiki practitioner uses gentle touch — or places their hands just above your body — to help guide this energy in a way that promotes balance and healing.
Prenatal Massage
Promotes a healthy and successful pregnancy by reducing stress, muscle tension and body imbalances while encouraging deep relaxation for the mother and child, Swedish massage technique is used mostly, for it focuses on long, sweeping strokes with only minimal pressure applied to the body.
Please note — to better ensure the safety of both mother and child, the pregnancy massage will be performed side-lying.
Himalayan Salt Stone Massage
Himalayan salt stones offer another layer of indulgence. Heated salt stones are applied to the body to release tension, allowing the massage therapist to work deeper into the muscle fibers. Warmth helps the muscles relax, leading to a deeper massage.
